I thought I'd make my way to a local cruise. Grabbed a taxi to a nearby place and walked there.
Firstly I will never understand why guys sit in their cars with their headlights on full and the engine running. It is antisocial to say the least but also it puts lots of guys off as well.
And there were guys there, but again, all just sitting in their cars. Why? I genuinely don't get the point of that.
The most exciting thing was being stopped by a police officer as they drove past as I walked between the car parks.
He was friendly. Asked me what I was doing and did I know the area was used for hooking up for sex. Explained getting some fresh air and yes I did, but I didn't expect to get lucky. I think my honesty threw him for a moment.
Ultimately I wasn't doing anything wrong, I was equally friendly and honest and we had a chat and went our separate ways.
But... someone (and I think it was him) drove slowly around one of the car parks shining an insanely bright torch out of the window. As it happened, I was away from the main area so just watched that from afar.
