I am sadly used to timewasters. It's an occupational hazard but this one took me slightly by surprise because it rapidly descended from simple time wasting bullshit to gaslighting.

He's the one who lied about coming last time, saying he was parked up 10 mins walk then an hour later in the hotel paying for parking.
I decided, against my usual rules, to give him a second chance. Something I very rarely do.
Now it's worth putting some of the conversation in from the last week.
I said this, a week ago:
Notice I very clearly state I've booked the room. We had also had chat about the local sauna. His reply:

When I reminded him this morning, I got this:
Now had it stopped there, he's just another time wasting prick.
But no. This one decided to double down and gaslight:
I hate this kind of behaviour. It is, basically, a form of abuse and I am certain that anyone who is willing to do this to a complete stranger on a hookup site is more than willing to do it in their other, day-to-day relationships.
I wouldn't usually go to the extent of posting conversations but people need to be aware and keep an eye out for this kind of thing.
(Oh and anyone wanting to see in private, the full, unedited thread, I am happy to show it, just to show I am not cherry picking).
